Veteran venues executive Tim Worton is embarking on an exciting new career path, bidding farewell to the live entertainment industry to pursue a new journey.

Worton’s departure from ASM Global at the end of the year marks the beginning of a 12-month full-time study program at Moore Theological College in Sydney. Upon completion, Worton aims to venture into roles in pastoral care, chaplaincy, or ministry.

With an impressive 33-year track record in the entertainment business, Worton has dedicated 25 years to ASM Global (formerly known as AEG Ogden). For nearly two decades, he has held the position of group director of arenas for APAC, showcasing his expertise in venues and event management.

“Tim has been a valuable ambassador for our organization. His decision to pursue his faith is commendable, and we wish him nothing but success in his new endeavor,” remarks ASM Global (APAC) chairman and CEO Harvey Lister.
