Biden appears to disagree with his press secretary about recent medical check-up.

Recent Contradiction Regarding President Biden’s Medical Checkup

Hours after the White House stated that President Biden had not undergone any recent medical examinations, the president seemingly contradicted this information by informing governors that he had indeed had a recent medical checkup.

During a press briefing on Wednesday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre firmly told reporters that Biden had not received any medical exams since his last annual physical in February.

When CNN’s Min Jung “MJ” Lee pressed Jean-Pierre about the president’s health, the press secretary responded, “And got – and we were able to talk to the – to his doctor about that, and that is a no.”

Jean-Pierre reiterated that the 81-year-old president had not undergone any medical exams whatsoever. When pressed further by Jung, Jean-Pierre firmly responded with a straightforward “No.”

These remarks by Jean-Pierre came just before Biden’s meeting with Democrat governors at the White House later that evening.

According to the New York Times, Biden informed the governors that he had seen the White House physician to address a reported cold that his campaign had mentioned during the presidential debate with Trump.

Furthermore, Biden reportedly stated to the governors that he would no longer schedule events after 8 p.m. in order to prioritize getting more sleep, as reported by the outlet.

The White House press office clarified, “Several days later, the President was seen to check on his cold and was recovering well.”

As concerns about Biden’s age and mental acuity continue to be raised by allies, politicians, and the media, recent events have only added fuel to the fire.

During the last week’s presidential debate, Biden’s performance was scrutinized due to his raspy voice and rambling answers that led to difficulties in certain portions of the debate.

Post-debate, Democrats and liberal media personalities appeared to be in a state of panic over Biden’s performance, with discussions and uncertainties surrounding his ability to serve a second term.

This apprehension within the Democratic Party has manifested through reports indicating that numerous Democratic officials have suggested Biden consider withdrawing his nomination at the Democratic National Convention in August.

Some strategists have proposed that the Democratic Party needs to act swiftly in replacing Biden before his nomination becomes official.

While Vice President Harris has largely been ruled out as a viable replacement due to her unpopularity with voters, names like California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer have been floated as potential last-minute replacements.

It is crucial to monitor these developments closely as they unfold.
