In 2007, Michaels took over United just as the vinyl format was beginning its resurgence, helping the company navigate a challenging period when demand for promotional DJ singles drastically declined. Michaels and his team rose to the occasion by expanding the plant, investing in new infrastructure, equipment, and presses to meet the growing demand.

Today, United Record Pressing stands stronger than ever, with a dedicated team of 130 employees sporting anniversary T-shirts showcasing the plant’s evolution over the years.
