During Donald Trump’s rally in Wisconsin on Tuesday, CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale found himself debunking so many falsehoods that it took him three full minutes to list them all. In total, Dale identified 30 blatant lies told by the former president during the event.

Some of Trump’s false claims were his typical baseless statements and conspiracy theories surrounding the 2020 election. However, there were also some newer fabrications, like his reference to a doctored video of President Joe Biden at the G7 meeting, which had been circulating in right-wing media circles.

One of Trump’s erroneous statements included a claim that Biden had wandered off at the G7 summit and was lost. Dale quickly corrected this by explaining that Biden was actually engaged in a casual conversation with a skydiver who had recently landed near the group.

Dale also fact-checked Trump’s assertions on various topics, ranging from Al Capone to Nancy Pelosi to taxes. For instance, Trump falsely stated that Biden’s proposed plans would quadruple taxes for Americans, a claim Dale categorically dismissed as “total fiction.”
