Conservative group criticizes Biden in harsh ad before CNN debate

The conservative nonprofit Building America’s Future is set to launch a powerful six-figure ad campaign in crucial swing states just ahead of the highly anticipated first presidential debate on Thursday. The campaign aims to spotlight what they deem President Biden’s “open border” policy, which they argue has turned into a “nightmare for American women.”

Building America’s Future revealed that they will be airing a 60-second digital ad surrounding the CNN Presidential Debate. The ad will focus on the tragic death of Rachel Morin, who was allegedly murdered by an illegal immigrant. Titled “Again,” the digital ad will be showcased in key states such as Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

The ad will shed light on the story of how an illegal immigrant, permitted entry into the U.S. under President Biden’s watch, went on to perpetrate the brutal murder of Maryland mother Rachel Morin. Police reports indicate that Rachel, a 37-year-old mother of five, was sexually assaulted, beaten, and strangled to death along a hiking trail in Maryland in August 2023.

The bereaved mother of Rachel Morin, Patty Morin, did not hold back in criticizing President Biden for what she perceives as his lack of seriousness in addressing the ongoing immigration crisis. She spoke out after her daughter became a victim of rape and murder allegedly at the hands of Victor Martinez Hernandez, an individual who entered the country illegally.

The ad emotionally states, “Laken Riley wasn’t the first and in Joe Biden’s America, sadly, she won’t be the last.” It goes on to highlight the case of Victor Hernandez, an illegal immigrant wanted for murder, who was allowed entry into the U.S. under President Biden.

The ad also references the recent tragic case of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray from Houston, who was reportedly raped and murdered by two illegal immigrants last week. “Joe Biden’s open border policy is a nightmare for American women,” the ad proclaims.

Victor Martinez Hernandez stands accused of brutally raping and ending the life of Rachel Morin, leaving her children motherless. The ad campaign is scheduled to run from Wednesday, June 26, through Friday, June 28, at a considerable cost exceeding $200,000.

In addition to television advertisements, the media strategy includes the use of mobile billboards and 2D projections on notable buildings in significant metropolitan areas including Atlanta, Georgia, Greensboro, North Carolina, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This isn’t the first time Building America’s Future has targeted President Biden with their ads. Previously, they released a poignant ad coinciding with Biden’s State of the Union address, shining a spotlight on the tragic demise of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, allegedly at the hands of an illegal immigrant. Interestingly, CNN opted not to air the ad during the President’s address.
