Conservative groups spend big money to stop Democrats banning Zyn: ‘Protect our pouches’

Save Our Pouches: Conservatives Push Back Against Crackdown on Nicotine Pouches

As the debate over nicotine pouches heats up, two conservative nonprofits have joined forces to raise awareness and criticize the Democratic push to crack down on these products at major sporting events across the country this summer.

Americans for Consumer Protection and Building America’s Future have launched a six-figure campaign, starting with a presence at the U.S. Open in North Carolina. Operatives equipped with signs and promotional materials have been on the ground, calling on lawmakers to “Save Our Pouches.”

According to a press release by the nonprofits, nicotine pouches have been proven to help adult smokers transition to safer alternatives. In Sweden, the use of traditional cigarettes has significantly decreased due to the accessibility and acceptance of smoke-free alternatives like nicotine pouches.

The campaign aims to raise awareness about the benefits of nicotine pouches and push back against potential bans fueled by lawmakers like Sen. Chuck Schumer, who called for a federal crackdown on Zyn nicotine pouches earlier this year.

Operatives at the U.S. Open distributed merchandise and collected signatures for a petition to oppose the ban on Zyn nicotine pouches. The “Save Our Pouches” message will continue to resonate at upcoming events in an effort to build opposition against any prohibition on these products.

The Save Our Pouches Summer Tour is set to engage conservative pouch users, particularly those who may not actively participate in traditional political events. Events like UFC 303, WWE SummerSlam, and NASCAR races are on the radar for the campaign’s next stops.

As the fight to protect nicotine pouches intensifies, conservatives are determined to ensure that adult smokers have access to safe alternatives that can potentially save lives. Stay tuned as the “Save Our Pouches” campaign makes its mark across the country this summer.
