Election integrity group offers $50K to whistleblowers and buys Olympics ad: ‘We’re monitoring elections’
The Fair Election Fund, a newly formed election watchdog nonprofit organization, has taken a unique approach to promoting election integrity by incentivizing whistleblowers to come forward. The organization has recently announced that it will be awarding an initial $50,000 in “bounties” to whistleblowers who have reported first-hand knowledge of voter fraud or irregularities in states such as North Carolina and Michigan.
Established earlier this year, the Fair Election Fund has committed to pledging millions of dollars to promote election integrity by compensating and safeguarding whistleblowers who identify issues at polling places and election offices. The group has already received reports from whistleblowers across the country, detailing various issues such as receiving multiple ballots, delayed ballots, mailing address errors, and more.
Doug Collins, former congressman from Georgia and Senior Advisor to the Fair Election Fund, expressed enthusiasm about the success of the group’s incentives in encouraging whistleblowers to step forward. Collins emphasized the importance of shedding light on election abuses and preventing fraud before the upcoming November elections.
Due to the positive response to the initial bounties, the Fair Election Fund is planning to expand its efforts into key swing states through a six-figure digital ad campaign during the Olympics. The new ad, titled “We’re Watching,” will focus on swing states such as Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina, highlighting a recent case of a Connecticut Democratic operative involved in an absentee ballot stuffing investigation.
The ad emphasizes the significance of voting as a fundamental right for Americans, especially in crucial times. It warns bad actors attempting to interfere with elections that vigilant watchdogs are monitoring the process closely, ensuring that any fraudulent activities will be exposed and addressed.
