Ex-Trump official announces new border initiative to try to win Senate seat

Former Trump official and Republican Nevada Senate candidate Jeff Gunter has launched a bold initiative to address the crisis at the southern border. Gunter, a former U.S. ambassador to Iceland, unveiled his “Build the Wall, Deport Them All” program, aimed at curbing the economic impact of illegal immigration on small businesses across the country. The initiative is still in its early stages but is set to have a significant impact on tackling the issue of illegal immigration.

Gunter has pledged to invest $1 million of his own money into the initiative, which will include the development of a dedicated website and reporting system for citizens to report suspicious activities. Additionally, funds will be allocated for an advertising campaign to raise awareness of the initiative throughout Nevada, with more supporters expected to join the cause in the near future.

The core of Gunter’s initiative involves collaborating with local businesses to identify undocumented immigrants negatively affecting their operations. This information will be forwarded to the Department of Homeland Security for immediate action and enforcement. Gunter also plans to team up with small businesses to assess and minimize the impact of illegal immigration on their activities. Moreover, a “See Something, Say Something” campaign will be launched to empower individuals to report suspicious behavior and assist law enforcement in maintaining national security.

If elected, Gunter has outlined a comprehensive set of measures to address immigration issues. He vows to resume border wall construction, bolster border surveillance, crack down on sanctuary cities and states, and end birthright citizenship. Gunter aims to reinstate the Remain in Mexico policy for asylum seekers and revive Title 42, a health-related policy to turn away migrants at the border.

Gunter emphasizes the seriousness of the situation, referring to illegal immigrants as “invaders” and highlighting the need to prioritize national security. He is committed to supporting President Trump’s policies on border security and deportation programs to ensure the safety and sovereignty of the country.

As Gunter prepares for the upcoming Senate race in Nevada, his initiative signals a strong stance on immigration issues and a dedication to upholding the rule of law. With a significant financial commitment and a clear plan of action, Gunter’s campaign is poised to make a considerable impact in the battle for the Nevada Senate seat.

The primary election, where Gunter will face former U.S. Army Captain Sam Brown for the Republican nomination to challenge incumbent Democrat Sen. Jacky Rosen, is scheduled for June 11th. The race is heating up, with Gunter’s initiative and platform drawing both support and criticism, setting the stage for a closely watched contest in the battleground state.
