House Republicans criticize Democrats who skipped Netanyahu speech
House Republicans are strongly criticizing progressive Democrats who are considering skipping Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming speech to a joint session of Congress next month. The address, scheduled for July 24, is taking place amidst Israel’s ongoing operation in Gaza to combat Hamas and rescue hostages taken by the terror group during their violent attack on October 7, 2023, which resulted in the tragic deaths of over 1,000 Israelis.

Chairman of the House GOP’s campaign arm, Representative Richard Hudson, criticized extreme House Democrats for prioritizing pro-Hamas elements over supporting Israel, undermining the bilateral relationship between the US and Israel.
