Hunter Biden’s former business partner denies charges in gun trial, says they are a distraction from accusations of influencing peddling.

Hunter Biden, son of President Biden, was recently found guilty on all charges in his federal gun trial in Wilmington, Delaware. The trial, which lasted about six and a half days, included emotional testimony from members of his family, including his daughter Naomi Biden, ex-wife Kathleen Buhle, and his sister-in-law turned girlfriend, Hallie Biden.

Prosecutors built their case on the allegation that Hunter Biden lied on a federal firearm form in October 2018 when he purchased a gun from a store called StarQuest Shooters & Survival Supply in Wilmington. The form, known as ATF Form 4473, asked if he was an unlawful user of a firearm or addicted to controlled substances, to which he answered “No”.

In response to the guilty verdict, Hunter Biden expressed gratitude for the love and support he received from his family, friends, and community. He emphasized that recovery is possible through the grace of God and blessings experienced one day at a time.

The ex-business associate of Hunter Biden also shared his thoughts on the trial, expressing sympathy for Hunter and describing the charges as “bonehead” and a result of political gamesmanship. He criticized the justice system as being driven by personal agendas rather than objective laws.

Special Counsel David Weiss echoed that sentiment, stating that no one is above the law, and Hunter Biden should be held accountable like any other citizen convicted of similar conduct.

In a parallel view, the Trump campaign spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, condemned the trial as a distraction from what she called the “real crimes of the Biden Crime Family.” She accused the Biden family of engaging in illegal activities and profiting off government access.

This trial comes as Hunter Biden is set to face another legal battle on federal tax charges, raising questions about the broader implications for the Biden family. As the political and legal drama unfolds, the public awaits the next chapter in this high-profile case.
