Jason Aldean and his wife were with former President Trump at the Republican National Convention.
Former President Trump made a grand entrance at the final night of the 2024 Republican National Convention, walking out to the energetic tune of AC/DC’s “Back In Black” to a roaring crowd. The anticipation was high as the former president took the stage for his highly awaited speech, with former first lady Melania Trump, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and other members of the Trump family gathered in the family box to support him. Joining them in the box were country music star Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany Aldean.
The Aldeans have been longtime vocal supporters of Trump, and their support was unwavering even after the recent assassination attempt on the former president. Following the incident, Jason Aldean took to Instagram to express his solidarity and well-wishes for Trump.
In his caption attached to a photo of Trump with blood on his face and a defiant stance at a campaign rally, Aldean wrote, “This is what a Warrior looks like! @realdonaldtrump we are thinking about u and praying for you and your family. God has a bigger plan for you, my friend, and I think we all know what that is by now.” He also extended his condolences to the families of the victims of the cowardly act.
Brittany Aldean shared the same sentiment, posting the same photo with the caption, “They done messed up now.” She praised Trump’s resilience and spirit, declaring her support for “TRUMP 2024.”
In November 2023, Jason Aldean made headlines with the release of his song “Try That In A Small Town,” featured on his “Highway Desperado” album. The song sparked controversy due to its music video depicting riots and violence, drawing criticism and causing Country Music Television to pull the video.
Despite the backlash, “Try That In A Small Town” climbed to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem showed her support for Aldean during the backlash, expressing shock at the attempt to “cancel” him and inviting him to perform in South Dakota anytime.
Jason Aldean is scheduled to perform in Colorado Springs, Colorado tomorrow night, continuing his music career while maintaining his steadfast support for causes and individuals he believes in.
