Jason Kelce makes fun of Travis Kelce’s outfit with Taylor Swift joke.

Taylor Swift‘s fashionable cats might not have been the masterminds behind Travis Kelce‘s daring outfit, but the resemblance is uncanny. According to Jason Kelce, at least.

The retired Philadelphia Eagles center shared a tweet on Monday (May 27) mocking his younger brother’s unique choice of attire for a recent basketball game, featuring jeans slashed in an unconventional pattern. A Swiftie humorously commented, “What the f–k did Taylor’s cats do with his jeans,” alongside a photo of Travis’ eclectic ensemble.

Joining in on the joke, Jason reposted the tweet with a simple declaration, “Now that’s funny!”

Travis sported the distinctive denim the day before at the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Dallas Mavericks playoff game, where he was accompanied by fellow Kansas City Chiefs players Patrick Mahomes and Marquise Brown, along with Brittany Mahomes, wife of the quarterback. Paired with the shredded jeans were sunglasses and a plain white T-shirt emblazoned with a red apple graphic.

Swift is the proud parent of three cats — Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button. Recently, Olivia was recognized as the world’s third-richest pet, boasting an estimated net worth of $97 million. Benjamin even graced the cover of TIME magazine alongside his superstar owner in December.

Jason’s light-hearted ribbing of Travis follows a more serious discussion the brothers had on their joint podcast New Heights. In a recent episode, the duo finally addressed Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s controversial commencement speech at Benedictine College, where he invoked Swift’s song “Bejeweled” while expressing strong opinions on various topics, including President Joe Biden, abortion, birth control, LGBTQ Pride, and more.

“I’ve known him for seven-plus years,” Travis commented on Butker during the podcast. “I cherish him as a teammate … He is every bit a great person and great teammate. He’s treated friends and family that I’ve introduced to him with nothing but respect and kindness, and that’s how he treats everyone.”

“When it comes down to his views and what he said … those are his,” added the tight end, while Jason nodded in agreement. “I can’t say I agree with the majority of it, or just about any of it outside of him loving his family and his kids. I don’t think I should judge him by his views, especially his religious views, of how to go about life. That’s just not who I am.”
