Joe Biden assures Congressional Democrats he’s staying put

President Joe Biden reaffirmed his commitment to staying in the race as the Democratic presidential nominee, urging congressional Democrats to unite in their efforts to defeat Donald Trump in the upcoming November election.

In a letter released by his campaign, Biden addressed the speculation surrounding his candidacy and made it clear that he has no intention of stepping aside before the end of the race.

He emphasized that Democratic voters across the country have chosen him to represent their party in the presidential race, and stepping down would disregard their voices and choices.

“How can we uphold democracy in our nation if we do not honor it within our own party?” Biden wrote in his letter.

He urged unity among Democrats, stressing the importance of coming together to face the challenge ahead and secure a victory over Trump in the upcoming election.

Despite calls from some House Democrats for Biden to withdraw from the race, he remains resolute in his decision to continue campaigning, citing strong support from voters during his campaign events.

Biden acknowledged his shaky performance in a recent debate against Trump but emphasized that it was just one night and should not overshadow his overall campaign and support from voters.

During an appearance on NBC’s “Morning Joe,” Biden expressed confidence in his campaign’s momentum and the enthusiasm of the crowds at his events, indicating that he still has the backing of the average voter.

“We are here to stay. I am here to stay,” Biden affirmed, highlighting his determination to challenge Trump and lead the Democratic Party in the upcoming election.
