During the recent Chiefs vs. New Orleans Saints match, co-announcer Troy Aikman mistakenly referred to the pop star as Travis Kelce’s “Mrs.” This led to a funny exchange on air, where Buck revealed that his daughters had warned him not to make any jokes about Taylor Swift. On camera, there was a moment where Swift was captured reacting to one of Kelce’s plays in the second quarter. As she cheered and applauded her boyfriend, Aikman commented, “The Mrs. likes it,” leading Buck to correct him by pointing out that they are not actually married. These slip-ups are not uncommon, with Tony Romo making a similar mistake during a Chiefs game in the previous season, where he mistakenly referred to Taylor Swift as Kelce’s wife before correcting himself to say girlfriend.
