Katie Britt criticizes Kamala Harris, believes Vance is better for debates.

Republican Alabama Sen. Katie Britt, a rising star in the GOP, praised JD Vance ahead of his highly anticipated convention speech Wednesday night, predicting that Americans would “love” him once they got to know him.

Britt, who delivered the official Republican rebuttal to President Biden’s State of the Union address earlier this year, expressed her excitement to watch Vance debate Vice President Kamala Harris, confidently stating that Vance would outshine her. She described Vance as uniquely suited to carry forward President Trump’s agenda, emphasizing his life story of overcoming challenging circumstances.

The sight of Trump and Vance standing together at the convention hall for the first time since the attempted assassination over the weekend was described by Britt as “electric,” with the energy and hope palpable in the arena.

Following the announcement of Vance as Trump’s running mate, Harris reached out to congratulate him and expressed a desire for a potential vice presidential debate in the future. While no official vice presidential debate has been confirmed yet, two presidential debates between Biden and Trump have been agreed upon, with one already hosted by CNN and another scheduled to be hosted by ABC News in September.

Britt’s support for Vance as a colleague and friend, along with her belief in his ability to connect with the American people, highlights the excitement and optimism surrounding the Republican ticket as they gear up for the upcoming election.
