Michael Moore shares sad conclusion about Biden

Michael Moore, the famed filmmaker and activist, recently expressed his concerns about President Joe Biden’s condition, stating that he believes Biden is a victim of “a form of elder abuse” as those around him push him to stay in the race. Moore’s remarks came during an interview with MSNBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin, where he criticized Biden’s performance in a recent debate, calling it “heartbreaking.”

“Watching the debate a week ago was heartbreaking,” Moore told Mohyeldin. “Why did they even let him go out on the stage in this condition? Who was looking out for him? Who’s looking out for him right now?” Moore questioned. He went on to acknowledge that while there are people in their 80s who are capable of being president, Biden’s poor debate showing raised concerns beyond just age.

“Something was wrong that night,” Moore emphasized. “We all saw it. We can’t un-see it.” Moore, who hails from Michigan, shared that many voters in the key swing state view Biden’s chances as “almost un-winnable” due to worries about his cognitive health, as well as backlash from Arab-American voters and younger voters regarding his Gaza policy.

Despite his criticisms, Moore did offer some praise for Biden, dubbing him “the most progressive president that we’ve had in my lifetime” and commending him for defeating Trump in the previous election. “He removed the devil in 2020,” Moore remarked.

On his podcast and website, Moore called for Biden to undergo a medical evaluation, and if it confirms the “obvious medical issues” on display during the debate, he suggested that Biden should step down and pass the reins to Vice President Kamala Harris.
