Navy veteran trying to beat Minnesota Democrat who he says isn’t serious about protecting Americans.

Navy veteran Joe Fraser is on a mission to represent Minnesota in the Senate, criticizing incumbent Senator Amy Klobuchar for her perceived lack of action on critical issues like the southern border crisis and the economy. Fraser accuses Klobuchar of being “selfish” and “not serious” about protecting Americans, pointing to the dramatic increase in the national debt and the insecurity of the border during her tenure.

Fraser highlighted Klobuchar’s shift from advocating for border closure and immigration reform to supporting open borders with no clear immigration policy, presenting himself as a steadfast candidate without such policy flip-flops. He drew attention to recent arrests of eight Tajikistan nationals with ISIS ties in major cities, suggesting that Klobuchar and other Democrats prioritize the rights of potential terrorists over the safety of American citizens.

Emphasizing the importance of strong foreign policy, Fraser criticized Klobuchar for failing to effectively advocate for measures to keep radical nations like Iran in check. He condemned her support for the Iran nuclear deal, linking it to the current turmoil in the Middle East where Iranian weapons endanger U.S. Navy warships.

Setting himself apart from Klobuchar, who has been in office since 2007 and seeks a fourth term, Fraser pledged to serve no more than two terms if elected, promising to prioritize the needs of Minnesotans over party loyalties. He expressed his commitment to being a true advocate for the people of Minnesota, focusing on their interests and national security above all.

Before facing Klobuchar in the general election on Nov. 5, Fraser must first secure victory in the Republican primary scheduled for Aug. 13. Several Republicans are vying for the nomination, including former NBA player Royce White, who gained attention for his involvement in Black Lives Matter protests in Minneapolis. White’s controversial remarks on social media and past political ventures have stirred concerns among his competitors.

Fraser criticized the Minnesota GOP’s endorsement of White, labeling it as an “ill-informed decision” that overlooked crucial aspects of White’s background and credibility. He positioned himself as the rational choice among the GOP challengers, advocating for informed decision-making and emphasizing the importance of transparency and accountability in political candidates.

The veteran highlighted his extensive experience from nearly 26 years in the Navy, promising to bring a wealth of knowledge in national security, foreign policy, budget drafting, and legislative processes to the Senate. Fraser underscored his commitment to transparency and competency, contrasting himself with his opponents who lack comparable expertise.
