New documentary will show Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun’s feud.

Taylor Swift’s much talked-about feud with Scooter Braun is now being brought to the small screen in a new documentary series. Discovery+ has recently announced that the upcoming season of its series Vs will delve into the drama between Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun, aptly titled Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood. This season will explore the events leading up to the conflict, from Braun’s acquisition of Swift’s masters to her re-recording projects known as “Taylor’s Version,” along with all the fiery public exchanges that ensued.

To ensure a balanced portrayal of both sides, the two-part series will feature insights from legal experts, journalists, as well as individuals close to Swift and Braun. It will also examine the impact of gender dynamics, influence of fandom, and the rights of artists. The focus will be on Braun’s controversial $300 million purchase of Swift’s catalog from Big Machine Records’ Scott Borchetta in 2019, in addition to Swift’s accusations that Borchetta obstructed her attempts to regain control of her first six albums.

At the time of Braun’s acquisition, Swift publicly expressed her shock, claiming she was blindsided and had not been informed in advance. She took to Tumblr to voice her dismay, accusing Braun of years of bullying and manipulation. This revelation only added fuel to the fire of their already strained relationship.

The documentary, Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood, is set to premiere in June and follows in the footsteps of previous installments that delved into other celebrity disputes. The series aims to shed light on the complexities of contract law, social media spats, and how public perception can influence legal battles.
