Instead of feeling disappointed, the Glaser sisters decided to entertain themselves by creating a hilarious spoof version of Swift’s song “Cruel Summer” and shared it on TikTok.

It’s no secret that Nikki Glaser is a dedicated Swiftie, as she had previously spent a whopping $25,000 on tickets for the Eras Tour. Her love for Taylor Swift was evident when she shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show that attending nine Eras Tour shows that year brought her immense joy.

Eventually, the Glaser sisters made it to Vienna, where they were greeted by a crowd of Swifties who had gathered in the streets to trade friendship bracelets and sing Taylor Swift’s songs together. Nikki even joined in the fan-led event, sharing a video on her Instagram Story of the crowd passionately singing “All Too Well” in unison.

The fan gathering took place on the day Swift was supposed to kick off her three consecutive Eras shows at Ernst Happel. Unfortunately, the performances were canceled due to a terrorist plot targeting the concert venue, involving two teenage Austrian citizens planning to cause harm with knives or homemade explosives. One suspect had ties to the Islamic State, as reported by officials.

The following day, another suspect, an 18-year-old man, was detained in connection to the terrorist plot. Swift and her team have refrained from commenting on the situation so far.
