Pew Research Center reports Joe Biden’s approval ratings.

As President Joe Biden continues to navigate the complexities of leading the nation, Americans’ opinions on his job performance have remained stable over the past year. Currently, 35% of Americans approve of his performance, while 62% disapprove.

Among Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents, there has been a slight improvement in approval ratings, with 65% expressing approval of Biden’s job performance. This is up from 61% in January. However, his rating among Democrats remains lower than it was in the earlier days of his administration.

On the other hand, only 6% of Republicans and Republican leaners approve of Biden’s job performance. This figure has remained virtually unchanged over the past few years, highlighting the deep partisan divide in the country.

Looking at Biden’s job approval among different demographic groups, it becomes clear that opinions vary significantly.

When it comes to race and ethnicity, the majority of White (66%), Hispanic (63%), and Asian (57%) Americans disapprove of Biden’s job performance. In contrast, Black adults show a more positive trend, with 55% expressing approval, up from 48% earlier this year.

Age also plays a significant role in shaping evaluations of Biden’s performance. Older adults, aged 50 and above, tend to be more approving (39%) compared to those aged 30 to 49 (34%) and adults under 30 (28%). This suggests a generational divide in perceptions.

Furthermore, when considering education levels, the majority of adults with a four-year college degree (61%), some college experience (66%), or a high school diploma or less (66%) express disapproval of Biden’s job performance. Interestingly, those with a postgraduate degree are more evenly split, with 52% approving and 47% disapproving.

Overall, Biden’s job performance continues to elicit mixed reactions from the American public, reflecting the diverse opinions and perspectives present in today’s political landscape.
