Possible Trump vice president criticizes Biden for trying to appeal to Black voters by pandering.

President Biden is gearing up for a weekend of Black voter outreach in the crucial battleground states of Georgia and Michigan. However, a prominent Black Republican politician has criticized the president for what he believes to be election year “pandering.”

The president is set to participate in an event in Georgia on Saturday, targeting Black voters before delivering the commencement address at Morehouse College on Sunday. Later on Sunday, Biden will meet with small-business owners in Detroit and address the NAACP in Michigan.

In a recent memo, the Biden campaign emphasized their commitment to not taking any voter for granted. The campaign highlighted their efforts to create over 2.5 million jobs for Black workers, resulting in record low Black unemployment rates and significant growth in Black business ownership.

Despite the campaign’s claims of success, polls suggest that former President Trump has gained support among Black voters at Biden’s expense. GOP Rep. Byron Donalds of Florida, a supporter of Trump, criticized Biden’s policies and agenda, specifically pointing to issues like inflation, open borders, and the need for effective policies.

Donalds, who is considered a potential running mate for Trump in 2024, stressed the importance of unity within the Republican party and the urgency to defeat Biden in the upcoming election. He also hinted at a possible run for Florida governor in 2026 and did not rule out the idea of a future White House run in 2028.

Donalds’ trip to New Hampshire sparked speculation about his national ambitions, with the possibility of a presidential run in the future. Despite the uncertainty of politics, Donalds remains focused on his current responsibilities and the job at hand.

As these political dynamics unfold, the landscape of the upcoming election continues to shift, with both parties vying for support and positioning themselves for success in the race for the White House.
