Protester Assaults GOP Rep at Republican National Convention; CODEPINK Condemns ‘Misogyny’

He highlighted the ongoing intimidation and targeting of Republicans, stating firmly, “Republicans have been intimidated and targeted for years including the attempted assassination of President Trump and we will no longer standby and allow lawlessness.” Van Orden called for strict prosecution of those who engage in such violent actions to bring about meaningful change.

CODEPINK co-founder Medea Benjamin asserted that their Palestine campaign organizer was wrongfully arrested after being falsely accused of assault.
