At 78, Trump is now set to become the oldest candidate in the running, with a history of legal troubles, including a felony conviction in New York.

Analysts have noted the significant age difference between Harris and Trump, with Harris being 59 years old compared to Trump’s 78. Recent elections have shown that significant age gaps between major nominees have tended to favor younger Democratic candidates, which could play a role in the upcoming race.
