Ryan Reynolds is waiting for Taylor Swift to reveal the name of his fourth child.

The couple has a history of keeping their children’s names under wraps, but Reynolds hinted to Today co-hosts that the only person who might know the baby’s name is none other than the world’s biggest pop star, Taylor Swift. When asked if the baby’s name is hidden in Swift’s lyrics, Reynolds cleverly dodged the question by stating, “We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name will be. It’s no surprise that Reynolds is waiting for Swift’s approval, as the singer previously revealed the names of the couple’s other three children in her song “Betty” from the Grammy-winning Folklore album. The song references the names of the couple’s three older children: Inez, James, and Betty.
During one of Swift’s concerts last year in Philadelphia, she publicly acknowledged Lively and Reynolds’ trio while performing, showcasing their strong friendship and bond. The couple welcomed their fourth child in February 2023, but have chosen to keep the baby’s name private.
