Sabrina Carpenter Reaches No. 1 Again in Australia

Sabrina Carpenter, the U.S. pop star, continues to make waves on Australia’s music charts even during the southern winter. Her latest single “Please Please Please” has surged to the top spot on the ARIA Singles Chart, marking her second number one hit in less than two months. This achievement comes after her previous hit “Espresso” held strong at number two on the same chart, giving Carpenter the rare accolade of having both the top two positions on the list. “Espresso” had previously topped the charts for a week in May.

Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and country tunes by Post Malone, Morgan Wallen, and Dasha are also dominating the top 10 positions on the ARIA Chart. Meanwhile, Billie Eilish maintains her reign at the top of the ARIA Albums Chart with “Hit Me Hard And Soft,” followed closely by Taylor Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department.”

A notable debut on the ARIA Albums Chart is U.S. country star Luke Combs’ latest release “Fathers & Sons,” entering at number three and extending Combs’ streak of top 10 albums to five. English producer Fred Again also secures a spot in the top 10 with “USB,” while rap duo $uicideboy$ achieve a career-best ranking with their album “New World Depression” at number six.

Moreover, Nick Cave collaborators Dirty Three make their debut in the top 50 albums chart with “Love Changes Everything,” entering at number 12. Australian indie band Hockey Dad also makes a strong showing with their album “Rebuild Repeat,” landing at number 15 on the charts.
