Sabrina Carpenter’s Song ‘Please Please Please’ Reaches Number One on U.K. Chart Again

Sabrina Carpenter is on fire with her hit single “Please Please Please” dominating the Official UK Singles Chart for the second week in a row. With a whopping 8.6 million streams, this song continues to be the most-streamed track in the UK. It’s no surprise that fans can’t get enough of this catchy tune!

Produced by Jack Antonoff, “Please Please Please” is the second single from Carpenter’s latest album, Short ‘n’ Sweet, which dropped on June 6. Following her previous UK No. 1 hit with “Espresso,” Carpenter is proving to be a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.

Carpenter is not just breaking records, she’s shattering them. After claiming the top spot on the charts last week, she has achieved another milestone by becoming the youngest female artist to hold both the No. 1 and No. 2 positions for two consecutive weeks. Her track “Espresso” is maintaining its position at No. 2, surpassing the previous record set by Ariana Grande.

Joining Carpenter in the top 10 is indie-pop sensation Chappell Roan, who has landed at No. 7 with her debut single, “Good Luck, Babe!” It’s exciting to see new talent making waves in the music scene and earning their spot among the top chart-toppers.

Not only is Carpenter shining bright, but other rising stars are also making their mark on the UK Singles Chart. Chappell Roan’s debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, has seen two more singles enter the Top 40: “HOT TO GO!” at No. 33 and “Red Wine Supernova” at No. 40. It’s a testament to the diverse talent emerging in the music industry.

The chart-topping excitement doesn’t stop there. U.S. viral sensation Tommy Richman has secured his second U.K. top 40 single with “DEVIL IS A LIE,” debuting at No. 21. On the other hand, Coldplay’s latest single, “feelslikeimfallinginlove,” has made a grand entrance at No. 25, becoming the band’s 28th U.K. top 40 hit. Their recent performance at Glastonbury Festival only solidifies their status as music icons.

Meanwhile, Charli XCX is climbing the charts with “girl, so confusing” at No. 28, thanks to a viral remix featuring Lorde. This marks Charli’s 17th U.K. top 40 hit and Lorde’s fifth. Additionally, Jordan Adetunji’s “KEHLANI” has become the Belfast alt-hip-hop star’s first-ever Top 40 entry, landing at No. 29. It’s inspiring to see these artists making their mark on the international music scene.

Post Malone and Blake Shelton are also making waves with their collaboration, “Pour Me A Drink,” debuting at No. 34. This marks Posty’s 23rd U.K. top 40 single and Shelton’s first, showcasing the power of cross-genre collaborations in today’s music landscape.

Gracie Abrams, fresh off her first U.K. No. 1 album, has earned another accolade with “us..,” her duet featuring Taylor Swift, entering the chart at No. 37. It’s a testament to the staying power of talented artists who continue to captivate audiences with their music.

Last but not least, Ariana Grande’s “the boy is mine” has seen a significant surge, climbing 25 spots to enter the top 40 at No. 39. The remix featuring Brandy and Monica has breathed new life into the track, marking Grande’s 35th U.K. top 40 single and solidifying her status as a music powerhouse.
