Back to the Roots Mint ‘Peppermint’ Seed Packet, 140mg, Green

Our mint seeds germinate in 7-14 days and are best transplanted after 6-8 weeks in containers. Sow seeds on top of the soil mix, gently press them in, and keep the soil moist for successful germination. Once the plant reaches 3-4″ tall, transplant it outside with spacing of 18″ apart. Mint is a perennial herb with fragrant leaves that are great for flavoring lamb and poultry. It is commonly used in Middle Eastern and Greek cuisine for salads, side dishes, and sauces. Fresh mint leaves are also perfect for herbal tea. Regularly picking mint leaves will encourage plant production, and the best time to harvest the entire plant is just before flowering. Our mint seeds are of US origin and produce vibrant green plants.
