The TP-Link AC1900 Smart WiFi Router, also known as the Archer A8, is a high-speed dual-band router that supports MU-MIMO technology for optimal wireless internet performance. This router does not have a USB port and does not support VPN, unlike the Archer A9 AC1900 model. The Archer A8 is OneMesh compatible, allowing it to create a seamless WiFi network when used with TP-Link OneMesh WiFi Extenders. With wave 2 technology, this router offers speeds of 600 Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 1300 Mbps on the 5GHz band. It also features beamforming technology for enhanced WiFi coverage and has four Gigabit LAN ports and one Gigabit WAN port for reliable wired connections. Additionally, the router includes parental controls for managing internet usage, and it is compatible with a variety of internet service providers.
