Taylor Lautner remembers Taylor Swift’s movie premiere one year later.
Tay Lautner, the wife of actor Taylor Lautner, is still reminiscing about the magical premiere of Taylor Swift’s Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) one year later. In a recent Instagram post, she expressed her delight about being a part of the pop star’s world leading up to the release of the re-recorded album in 2023. She shared some photos with Swift and her husband from the set of the “I Can See You” music video, which debuted on the same day as Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) a year ago.
In the music video, Taylor Lautner played a secret agent who helps Swift escape from a symbolic confinement cell. Following the video premiere, he, along with other co-stars Joey King and Presley Cash, joined Swift on stage at the Eras Tour in Kansas City to present the project to the audience. Tay also shared a clip of her husband back-flipping onto the stage before the video premiere, describing the experience as surreal and unforgettable.
Tay Dome, formerly known as Tay Lautner, has always been vocal about her admiration for Taylor Swift, regardless of her husband’s previous relationship with the Grammy-winning artist in 2009. She praised Swift’s talents on her podcast, The Squeeze, describing her as a genius and one of the most humble individuals she has ever encountered.
Swift, in return, has spoken highly of the Lautners, referring to them as close friends during the “I Can See You” premiere. She also commended Taylor Lautner for his performance in the music video, highlighting that he did not use a stunt double and was a joy to work with on set.
