Taylor Swift, the iconic pop superstar, had a delightful encounter with royalty during the kick-off of her Eras Tour stop in London. The 34-year-old songstress snapped some backstage selfies with none other than Prince William and his adorable children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, at the grand Wembley Stadium on a Friday evening.
Interestingly, it was also the Prince of Wales’s 42nd birthday on that very day. Unfortunately, his wife Kate Middleton, currently receiving treatment for cancer, and their youngest son Prince Louis did not make an appearance in the heartwarming snapshots.
In an Instagram post, Swift joyfully wrote, “Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start,” alongside the photo featuring her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Prince William also took to the official Instagram account of the Prince and Princess of Wales to share another photo of the memorable moment. In the image, Swift poses elegantly alongside the royal family, extending her arm to capture the perfect shot.

Swift’s highly anticipated Eras Tour consists of three spectacular shows at Wembley Stadium, spanning from June 21 to June 23. Paramore joins as the special guest for all three shows, with METTE, Griff, and Benson Boone opening the consecutive concerts.

Swift, who kicked off the global Eras Tour in March 2023, recently revealed to her devoted fans that the monumental tour would be coming to an end. During her electrifying performance on June 13 at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool, England, she candidly disclosed, “The celebration of the 100th show means this is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December,” she professed to the ecstatic crowd. “Like, that’s it.”
