Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wore Kansas City Chiefs colors at a show in Paris.
Taylor Swift, the renowned pop star, showcased a stunning outfit for her final Eras Tour performance in Paris, and it was in tribute to a special group of fans present in the audience that evening. Dressed in the distinctive colors of the Kansas City Chiefs, Swift took the stage at La Defense Arena on May 12, with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, enthusiastically enjoying the show from the crowd.
The gesture to honor the Chiefs Kingdom occurred midway through the Eras setlist, as Swift donned a dazzling gold crop top and a red skirt while belting out hits like “Style,” “Blank Space,” and more from her acclaimed fifth studio album, “1989”. What caught everyone’s attention were the yellow bootie on her left foot and the orange bootie on her right foot, perfectly representing the team’s colors.
This wasn’t the first instance of Swift showing her support for the Chiefs, as she had previously worn various red and gold outfits to games at Arrowhead Stadium throughout the 2023-24 season, culminating in the Super Bowl victory in February where Kelce and the team secured their second consecutive Lombardi Trophy. This time, it was Kelce’s turn to cheer and dance to his girlfriend’s performance alongside Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, and Lenny Kravitz in the audience at La Defense Arena.
After the 1989 set, Swift surprised fans by performing songs from “The Tortured Poets Department” for only the fourth time. The highlight was “So High School,” which many speculate was written about Kelce. Videos captured Kelce smiling and dancing along to the tune, showcasing their adorable relationship and connection. During the performance, Swift and her dancers even incorporated a fun swag surf, paying homage to the Chiefs Kingdom.
Later in the show, Swift delivered another special moment by singing “The Alchemy,” a track believed to be about Kelce, as a surprise song. She combined it with “Treacherous” from her album “Red,” while strumming on the guitar and sharing heartfelt moments with the football star.
Next on Swift’s tour itinerary is Stockholm, where she will perform at Friends Arena for three consecutive nights starting May 17. Following that, she will travel across Europe, making stops in Spain, Scotland, Ireland, and more, before returning to the United States in October. In an Instagram post on the same day, Swift confirmed that she would continue to include “The Tortured Poets” set in her performances for the remainder of the Eras Tour, expressing her excitement to share it with fans around the world.
