Taylor Swift thanks friend named aimEe and takes aim at Kanye West with new song title.

Taylor Swift never fails to keep her fans on their toes, and her latest move is no exception. In a new live bonus track release from The Tortured Poets Department, the pop star is causing quite a stir simply by capitalizing a few letters in the title.

On Thursday night, Swift’s webstore unveiled two new limited-edition digital versions of her latest album. One version features “The Prophecy (Long Story Short – Live From Lyon),” while the other includes “thank You aimEe (Mean – Live from London).” The intriguing capitalization in the latter track has fans talking. Originally titled “thanK you aIMee,” this new version capitalizes “YE” instead of “KIM,” hinting at a potential reference to Swift’s longtime rival, Kanye West.

Fans are buzzing with speculation that this change in stylization could be a clue about the upcoming release of “Reputation (Taylor’s Version).” The original 2017 album delved into Swift’s public feud with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, particularly addressing the fallout from West’s controversial song lyric about Swift and the leaked phone call orchestrated by Kardashian.

The new version of “thank You aimEe” was recorded during Swift’s performance at London’s Wembley Stadium on June 22. This rendition marked the first time Swift performed the song, which was combined with her 2011 hit “Mean” during an acoustic set. Swift’s impromptu lyrics during the performance indicated her aspirations of singing at Wembley, and now she’s doing just that with five more dates scheduled at the iconic venue before wrapping up the European leg of her Eras Tour.

In a special announcement by Taylor Nation, it was revealed that the two new digital variants of the album would only be available until midnight ET on the release date. Fans have been quick to snatch up these limited editions, eager to uncover any hidden messages or references within the tracks.
