Taylor Swift watched Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl ring ceremony on Instagram while in the United Kingdom.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been consistently supporting each other by flying across the globe for the past nine months. However, on Thursday (June 13), Swift was unable to attend the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s Super Bowl ring ceremony due to her scheduled performances at Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium in England on June 14 and 15.
The Chiefs gathered at KC’s Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art to celebrate their Super Bowl LVIII win against the San Francisco 49ers and to receive their stunning rings, adorned with 529 diamonds and 38 rubies. Kelce, looking sharp in a red suit and white t-shirt, attended the ceremony while Swift supported from afar by tuning into wide receiver Mecole Hardman’s partner, Chariah Gordon’s Instagram live feed.
Swift couldn’t contain her excitement and expressed her joy through a series of all-caps comments on the live feed. She cheered with “YESSSSSS,” congratulated the team with “CONGRATULATIONS,” and even celebrated Hardman’s contract extension with a shout of “AND WE GET ANOTHER YEAR OF MECOLE.” Despite the time zone difference, the pop star had to bid farewell and catch some sleep before her performance in Liverpool, ending with “Gotta go to sleep it’s so late here love you guys.”
