Taylor Swift Wears Irish Flag Colors in Dublin Concert

Taylor Swift, the 34-year-old pop sensation, recently graced Dublin with her presence during the opening concert of her Eras Tour at Aviva Stadium. Swift embraced her Irish pride by donning a sparkly outfit adorned with the colors of the Irish flag.

During the electrifying show, Swift surprised her fans with two special mashups. The first mashup featured “State of Grace” from her 2012 album ‘Red’, combined with “You’re On Your Own, Kid” from Midnights. This performance showcased Swift playing “You’re On Your Own, Kid” on the acoustic guitar for the first time, delighting the audience.

For the second surprise song, Swift seamlessly mixed Midnights‘ “Sweet Nothing” with “Hoax” from Folklore. This marked her debut performance of “Hoax” on the Eras Tour, adding an element of surprise and excitement for her fans.

Not only did Swift deliver stellar performances during the concert, but she also paid tribute to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, by incorporating his signature archer pose while singing “Midnight Rain” from her Midnights album. This gesture added a personal touch to the show and showcased Swift’s playful and heartfelt side.

Prior to her performances in Ireland, Swift received a warm welcome from legendary rock band U2. The band sent her a beautiful bouquet of roses and lilies along with a sweet note expressing their excitement for her return to their hometown. Swift expressed her gratitude on social media, acknowledging U2 as the “classiest & coolest” and appreciating the Irish hospitality.

With three consecutive shows at Aviva Stadium from June 28-30, Swift’s Eras Tour promises to be a spectacular event. Joining her as a special guest for all three concerts is the iconic band Paramore, adding to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the event.
