Taylor Swift’s album stays at number one.

Taylor Swift continues to dominate the U.K. albums chart with her latest release, The Tortured Poets Department, maintaining the top spot for a second consecutive week. This achievement marks her fifth studio album to spend more than one week at No. 1, according to the Official Charts Company. Tortured Poets, Swift’s 11th studio album, follows the success of previous multi-week leaders like folklore, evermore, Midnights, and 1989 (Taylor’s Version).

Despite her reign on the album chart, Taylor Swift narrowly missed out on a chart double as Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” surpassed Swift’s “Fortnights” featuring Post Malone by less than 500 chart units on the Official U.K. Singles Chart. The competition was fierce, but Carpenter managed to secure the lead.

In other chart news, the Pet Shop Boys made a triumphant return with their latest release, Nonetheless, claiming the No. 2 spot on the Official U.K. Albums Chart. This marks the duo’s 19th top 10 effort and their highest-charting album in over three decades. St. Vincent also made waves with All Born Screaming, earning her a career-best No. 3 position on the chart, showcasing her rising popularity in the U.K. music scene.

Jess Glynne, the English singer and songwriter, continued her success with her latest album, JESS, debuting at No. 6 on the U.K. Albums Chart. This marks her third top 10 appearance following the chart-topping releases of her debut album, I Cry When I Laugh, and sophomore effort, Always In Between. Additionally, the Zutons made a strong comeback with The Big Decider, their first studio album in 16 years, securing the No. 7 position on the chart and adding to their impressive list of top 10 albums.
