Travis Kelce enjoys being Taylor Swift’s date and has fun
Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, is embracing his role as Taylor Swift’s arm candy with a smile on his face. In a recent interview with CBS Mornings, Kelce expressed his positive attitude towards living in the spotlight of his superstar girlfriend. When asked about how he feels about being in the glare of Swift’s fame, Kelce responded, “It’s the life I chose, I guess. I have fun with it. It comes with the territory of wanting to do fun activities like this.”
The interview took place on the set of Pepsi’s new Gladiator-themed commercial, where Kelce, along with NFL players Josh Allen, Justin Jefferson, and Derrick Henry, starred alongside Megan Thee Stallion. Dressed in a metallic gladiator uniform, Kelce shared that all of Swift’s songs are his favorites. “Literally, every single one,” he said. “If you see me at a concert, you’ll see me singing them all.”
When questioned about missing Swift’s wedding in Sydney while they were both in town for her Eras Tour, Kelce jokingly blamed it on her, saying, “I blame that on Taylor. Vocal rest, vocal rest.”
The interview clip coincided with the Chiefs’ first game of the new NFL season, where Kelce and his teammates faced the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium. Fans were eager to see if Swift would make an appearance at the stadium to support Kelce during the game.
