In Bloomington, Arizona State University, and other locations, around 275 individuals were arrested on Saturday. Moreover, at Northeastern University in Boston, over 100 students were removed from an encampment on campus and subsequently arrested by police in riot gear.
Similar incidents occurred at Washington University in St. Louis, where masked protesters were forcibly removed and more than 100 people were arrested, including students and university staff members.
The epicenter of these nationwide campus protests seems to be Columbia University, where students have established a “Gaza Solidarity Encampment.” They have planted tents on the university grounds, vowing to remain until the institution severs ties with Israel.
