Trump criticizes ‘extreme left troublemakers’ causing chaos at colleges across the country.

Former President Trump Denounces Anti-Israel Activists on College Campuses

Former President Trump recently criticized what he referred to as the “radical left lunatics” causing chaos on college campuses across the nation, particularly highlighting the promotion of antisemitism by leftist groups as opposed to conservatives.

During a press conference outside a Manhattan courtroom, where he is amidst a trial, Trump expressed his concerns about the escalating situation and emphasized the need to address it promptly. He stated, “This is a movement from the left. These are radical left lunatics, and they’ve got to be stopped now because it’s going to go on and on. And it’s going to get worse, and worse.”

Trump further warned against allowing such groups to have a stronghold, asserting, “And, you know, they take over countries, and we’re not letting them take over the USA. We’re not letting the radical left morons take over this country.”

The recent weeks have seen an influx of student agitators infiltrating various college campuses, with incidents such as radicals seizing Columbia University’s Hamilton Hall building, and demands for divestment from Israel at prestigious institutions like UCLA, Harvard, and Yale.

In response to the escalating situation, law enforcement agencies in New York City and Los Angeles have been actively working to restore order, clear encampments, and make arrests where necessary. Trump commended the efforts of the officers, particularly praising their work at Columbia University and UCLA.

Amidst the ongoing trial that Trump is involved in, known as NY v. Trump, the focus remains on his former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, and the alleged payment of $130,000 to Stormy Daniels in exchange for her silence about an alleged affair with Trump back in 2006.

Prosecutors are alleging that the Trump Organization reimbursed Cohen for the payment to Daniels, falsely categorizing it as legal expenses. The prosecution aims to establish that Trump knowingly falsified records with the intent of committing or concealing another crime, which falls under a felony offense according to New York law.

As the trial unfolds, the tensions surrounding the anti-Israel activism on college campuses continue to be a point of contention, with Trump’s remarks bringing attention to the growing concerns about radical leftist movements influencing university environments.

It remains to be seen how the trial proceedings and the campus activism will further develop in the coming days, as both issues hold significant implications for various spheres of society.
