Trump introduces Michaelah Montgomery at Atlanta rally.
At the recent rally in Atlanta, former President Trump introduced Georgia activist Michaelah Montgomery, stealing the show with his recount of their meeting at a restaurant. Trump highlighted Montgomery’s recognition of him in public and her appreciation for his funding of historically Black colleges and universities.
Describing Montgomery as “incredible” with a “tremendous future,” Trump expressed his willingness to support her in any way he could before giving her the opportunity to address the audience.
Montgomery, a conservative activist and founder of Conserve the Culture, emphasized the importance of spreading their message beyond their immediate circles. She urged the crowd to join them in mobilizing historically Black colleges and universities students to embrace conservative ideals.
Addressing the audience, Montgomery passionately asked for their commitment and support in their mission, stressing the significance of reaching out to their community with their message.
The rally occurred amidst criticism directed at Trump for his remarks regarding Vice President Kamala Harris’ racial identity at the National Association of Black Journalists convention. Trump’s comments sparked controversy, with the White House and various figures responding to his statements.
Despite the backlash, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson commended Trump for his handling of tough questions at the conference, highlighting the importance of engaging in dialogue even in challenging environments.
