Trump says Biden is confused and should take a cognitive test after debate.

Former President Trump took to social media on Monday to criticize President Biden, calling him a “cognitive mess” following their recent debate. Trump’s comments come after he suggested during the debate that Biden should undergo a cognitive exam to test his mental abilities.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated, “Only three things could have been the reason that Crooked Joe Biden, the worst President in the history of the United States, failed so badly at the debate on Thursday night.” In addition to criticizing Biden, Trump also praised his own debate performance, claiming that “Crooked Joe choked like a dog.”

Biden’s debate performance has faced criticism from individuals across the political spectrum, with some even calling for him to step down from his re-election bid before the Democratic National Convention in August.

During the debate, Trump mentioned that he had taken two cognitive tests and aced both of them, questioning why Biden had not taken any. Trump challenged Biden to take a cognitive test, suggesting that he wouldn’t be able to answer the first five questions.

Earlier this year, the White House released the results of Biden’s physical exam, conducted at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, which declared him to be a “healthy, robust 81-year-old” capable of fulfilling his duties as president.

Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the physician for the president, emphasized in the release that Biden is a healthy and active individual who can successfully execute the responsibilities of the presidency, including serving as Chief Executive, Head of State, and Commander in Chief.

In the report on Biden’s physical exam, O’Connor noted that the president’s overall health remained stable from previous examinations, with no new concerns identified. The release highlighted that Biden continues to feel well and displays good health.

Despite calls for Biden to take a cognitive test, the White House confirmed that such a test was not included as part of his regular physical examination. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre emphasized that Biden’s ability to interact with world leaders and make complex decisions demonstrates his mental acuity on a daily basis.
